Indie Publishing update: The Unknown Sun is coming soon

Hi all!  I just wanted to throw out some information regarding my debut novel, The Unknown Sun.  As many people know it is currently being edited by a professional and the cover was professionally done by the genius Victoria of Whit&Ware Design.  I plan to reveal the cover soon, most likely mid April, when I have my book back from the editor’s and have smoothed out whatever kinks were found.  That being said, I am hoping (crossed fingers and toes here) for a May 1st debut.

So, what is The Unknown Sun?  It is a full length fantasy novel meant for the YA audience and it is the first in a trilogy, The Destiny Series. The trilogy is about a girl, and her friends, whose destinies have been shaped through time and space so they could become who they were meant to be.  What that is exactly, you ask? You will have to read it to believe it.

So what about the first book, The Unknown Sun?  Here is what the first book in The Destiny Series is about:

Scarred by the accidents that had claimed her parents and sisters, Moira is rescued from a brutal attack by twins Airi and Belamar. The winged heirs to the throne in Skyfall, they instantly have a life changing connection to Moira and together the three friends learn things that will either alter their destinies…or set them right.

Skyfall is dying, and the Gods who had created and protected Airi and Bel’s world have been missing since the Great War. Moira, Airi, and Belamar must find a journal left by the twins’ deceased mother, Tanari. It tells of a prophecy that must be fulfilled to find the Gods known as The Unknown Sun so that Skyfall can be saved.

Deeper, darker secrets unravel around the three friends as a revolution threatens their quest and they are hunted by the very being that had tried to destroy Moira on Earth.  Tanari knew more than she had let on and within her journal a story is more than it seems, the past foretells the future, and a far reaching plan is unveiled.

Tanari was not a Skylander, but one of The Unknown Sun, an Immortal, and her powerful gifts have been given to Moira.  Why did Tanari reach across time and space to entrust a simple human girl with saving Skyfall and why does another God want her, and The Unknown Sun, dead?
